Washington County's Shell Building

If you build it, they will come.

In a truly multi-disciplinary effort, our teams provided site planning, architectural, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering services for the design of a spec light industrial building in Washington County, NC. A great opportunity to leverage the multi-disciplinary capabilities of the firm, all three departments at The Wooten Company - Planning, Civil, and Building Systems, worked in unison to provide Washington County with a 24,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building, focused on flexible use and low life cycle costs. The building offered standard metal building bay spacing and eave heights, and standing seam roof panels were incorporated into the design. Additionally, the layout of the building’s entrances and loading docks allowed the building to be subdivided for multiple or single tenants. The Wooten Company’s site design included set backs, landscaping, signage, site lighting and parking for the development of a proposed industrial park.
