Pembroke's Public Library
In 2010, The Wooten Company Architect, Russell Pearlman, led the design and construction administration for an approximately 2,000 square foot addition to the City of Pembroke Public Library. The addition allowed for a number of additional services to be provided out of the public space, including expanded computer access, expanded stack areas, increased children's services and improved egress capability from the Meeting Room. The design was carefully drawn to be responsive to the original design, with matching brick, windows and roofing. The courtyard was preserved and the operation of the meeting areas and library areas were allowed to continue independently.
