The Wooten Company Promotes Ralph Mobley to Board of Directors

Raleigh, NC - The Wooten Company recently appointed Ralph Summeral Mobley, Jr., PE to their Board of Directors. Mr. Mobley has been employed since 1989 and currently heads the Construction Administration Group for the consulting engineering company. Other members of the Board include: Amos “Bucky” Moore, PE, Arthur “Buck” Kennedy, PE, Dan Boone, PE, V. Stephen Player, AICP and Robert Egan, PE.

Mr. Mobley has a B.A. in Chemistry from The University of North Carolina and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mobley was a Project Manager with DWQ and a Dam Safety Engineer with DLR, both for the State of North Carolina. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the First Baptist Church in Clayton where he teaches Sunday School. He is a former member of Clayton Civitan (10 yrs) and has coached Clayton Community youth baseball and soccer for over ten years. Ralph, a Robersonville native, and his wife, Phyllis Sorrell Mobley, have been married for 22 years and have resided in Clayton for the past 21 years. They have 2 children, Kyle and Elizabeth, who are currently attending the U.S. Naval Academy and Clayton High School, respectively.
