Wooten Surveyor Receives Wetland Determination and Delineation Certificate

Mark Hussey, Construction Observer/ Surveyor for The Wooten Company, recently received a Certificate of Training in Wetland Determination and Delineation.

Training was sponsored by the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources of North Carolina State University. The certificate demonstrates excellent participation in the course and learning the Corps of Engineers methods for wetland delineation, as well as demonstrating his broad knowledge of the technical and scientific issues related to wetland delineation.

Mark has been performing engineering surveying and construction observation duties for The Wooten Company since July 1988. He has gained considerable experience throughout North Carolina, primarily on municipal and county utility projects. Mark’s role includes GPS infrastructure inventory, topographic surveying, and construction staking using conventional surveying equipment as well as GPS surveying equipment. Mark has 20 years of experience in field surveying and locating infrastructure features.
