The Wooten Company Celebrates its 70th Anniversary

The Wooten Company is celebrating its 70th year in business this month. Established in 1936, The Wooten Company has focused its efforts on providing engineering services to local governments, educational institutions, and industry. Its unique value-added offering has included assisting clients with locating and securing funds for utility and building systems development, upgrading infrastructure, and planning for growth.

The Wooten Company's services include civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, planning and architecture. With a staff of 100 and four locations in Raleigh, Greenville, Asheboro and Hickory, The Wooten Company serves all of North Carolina.

Bucky Moore, President of the company, says they are "poised for growth and ready to assist the people of North Carolina as they deal with aging infrastructure in the face of tremendous growth. We look forward to providing the engineering, planning and architecture services needed to meet our impending challenges as a state that continues to receive national recognition as a great place to live, work and raise a family."

The Wooten Company will launch a new web site this month and step up its recruiting efforts as more engineers are needed to move forward.
