During our 75 years of existence, The Wooten Company has provided engineering services for a number of municipalities, counties, and industrial firms in North Carolina. The projects have included:
- Wastewater collection and treatment
- Water supply and distribution
- Solid waste management
- Storm drainage
- Street system improvements
- Community Development projects
A full range of services is furnished for public works projects including not only design and management during construction, but also the preparation of Preliminary Engineering Reports and Feasibility Studies including 201 Plans, User Charge Systems and Cost of Service Studies, Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Start-Up Services, Industrial Waste Pretreatment Programs, and securing Sludge Disposal Permits.
In addition, construction observation services are furnished for most projects, including all public works projects. The Wooten Company provides a full range of comprehensive planning services. These services include preparation of comprehensive water and sewer plans, site specific planning services including master plans for governmental and recreational complexes, and site plans for public and private sector development.
Recent staff additions have positioned The Wooten Company to expand its services in civil/site design for a variety of projects, including private, commercial, retail, residential, institutional and educational. These land development services include design of streets and utilities, storm drainage and stormwater collection systems to grading and erosion control, detention basins, road widening, water and sewer extensions and pump stations.
