The Fayetteville Mall Elevator Lobby was enclosed with two hour rated construction, and a sprinkler system was installed to provide a protected enclosure to the exterior of the courthouse. The Salisbury Street Pedestrian Entrance Life Safety Upgrades included a two hour rated enclosure and sprinklers. The stair towers were provided with a two hour rated horizontal exit connecting them to the building’s exterior. Both the elevator lobby and pedestrian entrance were equipped with metal detectors, cameras and check tables providing secure entrances to the courthouse.
