The project included preparation of an illustrative site plan for a 40+ acre park site. Rolesville applied in January 2002 for a NC Parks and Recreation Trust Fund Grant to acquire the property. The plan will illustrate three phases of development. The first phase includes a gazebo/picnic shelter, children's playground, multi-purpose field, walking trail, and parking. The second, much larger phase, includes several multi-purpose fields, a baseball field, shelter, children's playground, walking/biking trail, and parking. The longer range Phase Three will include another multi-purpose field, a trail system expansion and additional parking.
