The Wooten Company provided all architectural and engineering design and construction administration for this project. The existing boiler and chiller plant at NCSCC was enlarged and additional cooling towers, chillers and pumps added. The plant serves both campuses, NCSCC and ENCSD (Eastern NC School for the Deaf). A new underground chilled water loop was installed to serve all buildings on ENCSD campus in the future. All existing HVAC equipment serving McAdams Hall at ENCSD was removed and replaced with new equipment, and a new building automation system was installed to control the new equipment, both at ENCSD and the Chiller Plant at NCSCC.
