The Wooten Company provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems design for this new 168,000 square foot private school designed for approximately 90 students in grades six (6) through twelve (12). This school will provide students, teachers, and staff with state-of-the-art learning and teaching tools, such as the World Wide Web, LCD projection and networked student desk stations for learning and teaching using computers.

Spaces include media center with a library, offices, a conference room, a parents room, college/placement office, archives, broadcasting facilities, telecommunications center, information center, and storage; administrative offices; auditorium; large lecture room; art, chorus, and drama rooms; a gymnasium; middle school classrooms with science prep areas; high school classrooms with science prep areas; dining and food service facilities; and student lounge and bookstore. Recreation facilities include a field house, ball fields, and lighting.

The project was four new buildings plus provisions for future buildings, comprising a complete Middle & Upper (private) school campus: Two 2-story 39,000 square foot classroom buildings for Middle and Upper Schools, a 3-story 34,500 square foot Library and Administration Building, a 33,400 square foot Sports & Fitness Center with gymnasium and Student Center, and a future Fine Arts building. The Wooten Company provided complete engineering design services for this project, including plumbing, HVAC, power, lighting, data, video, communications and life safety systems. Engineering services also included design of backflow devices for campus water mains, domestic and fire. Design of backflow protection within science buildings, dining hall and make-up water for HVAC systems was a substantial part of this project.
