Project included master site plan, cost estimates, NC PARTF and LWCF grant applications. The Town was awarded $250,000 PARTF and $125,000 LWCF grants in 2004. Master plan included site analysis, environmental assessment, and park design for a 14.75 acre site. Park plan included 3,300 foot paved walking trail, four baseball fields, score tower/concession stand, open play field, basketball courts, tennis courts, two picnic shelters, children's playground, parking lot, site landscaping. Park was developed in two phases.
