Washington County Recognized

March 22, 2007

The leadership of Washington County was recognized at a dinner meeting by the American Council of Engineering Companies of North Carolina (ACEC/NC) for their outstanding support and respect for the engineering industry.

The purpose of the program is to recognize ACEC/NC member company client(s) who have exemplary relationships with the member company(s) and whose actions are supportive of the ideals and needs of the ACEC/NC, including those outlined in American Public Works Association’s Guidelines for Public Agencies “Selection and Use of Engineers, Architects and Professional Consultants.”

“We are excited to honor David Peoples, his staff and the County Commissioners,” said Lisa Wilson, Business Development Coordinator for The Wooten Company. “We have an excellent rapport with them and are pleased that ACEC has a program which offers this type of recognition.”

The staff was presented with a plaque after a dinner held at the North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, NC on April 17th.
